With GoldenLung we are quite busy with our job and we have unfortunately little time to translate chapters. That’s why we’ve decided to take a two week break.
See you.
Edit 28/05/2022 : GoldenLung speaking here, I don’t feel super well lately and I want to prolong the break for two more weeks. Sorry guys I know you want to read what happens next but I’m really struggling to strike a balance between translation and the rest of my life. Stay well everyone.
:O oh nooooo, jk, sad but do what you guys need to

Thanks for the update. As long as you’re doing okay that’s all that matters. Feel better, get better soon and if you need to change how often you release translations that might also help you with balancing your life. I feel getting one a day is being spoiled compared to some of the things I read that are only once a week D:

I sincerely think you guys having this crazy schedule where you try to translate chapters as you go by then one by one while trying to find a balance between work, family, life and cliffhangers is impossible, STICK TO A FIXED SCHEDULE, release 1 chapter per day, or 2 chapters every 3 days, or post only at weekends but DO NOT TRY TO JUGGLE WITH CHAPTER COUNT.
Seriously i do not care how many times you guys post per week and even less if there will be a cliffhanger at the end of a particular chapter, chinese novels are always like that, every chapter is a cliffhanger including the very last one
Guys for real make a time sched that seens doable for both of you and STICK TO IT, the number of chapters per week do not matter, everyone will read then cry because of cliffhangers and yell for more, its life, but i cannot emphasize enough the need for a fixed release, with that you can start to build chapters on a backlog and then open up patron tiers for people to read then ahead of the normal release rate
Seriously, i have saw dozens of translations teams but you guys are the only ones who not only do it for FREE, you try to not leave us hanging, i understand your passion but this is clearly taking a toll in you both, so slow down and consider implementing the changes i mentioned, that way even if you dont earn money doing this at least you wont lose it

Thank you for your kind comment
We’ll think about it
3-4 chapters per week is definitely way more doable than 1 per day

Try 3 per week, if its confortable and easy to do while not invading your other business try it for a month or 2, if it works and you want/need more you can up the chapters, in the inverse if you need more time then put 2 chapters a week
Overgeared for example puts only 5 free chapters per week, try and see what fits you best

Bro, go for 2 or 3 chaps per week, if you can translate more than this, do some “bundle releases” at the end of the month or at some point of history that’s thrilling enough. If you can’t translate more, fine, we can keep the history going at the same place, and if it’s still too much, go for one/week. If people don’t like it, they can come and help you to increase the pace, but please, do not harm yourself with overwork.

I recommend doing 2-3 a week for a while. Just cause maybe on weeks where you have extra time or are able to do more for whatever reason you can just have a backlog of ready chapters for when life happens and it has to take more of a backseat.
